Last week I received these white plastic sandals in the mail. I have been slightly obsessed with chunky shoes, especially in white, and since I needed a practical and causal pair for every day wear I decided to go with these juju jellies-looking ones from eBay. The kitchyness of them really appeals to me, but the crisp white color takes them away from that 90’s feel you got from wearing similar ones as a kid and make them look more modern. They have been super comfortable to walk around in, but I’m afraid they wont survive Roskilde Festival, so it’s a good thing they are more than affordable on eBay. I might just have to grab a pair in black too. And maybe pale pink.. with glitter.
Lately I’ve been completely obsessed with the idea of kimonos. Not the traditional Asian kimono, but the more modern day style that can be worn casual as everyday wear. I have been all over eBay and my usual favorite online stores to find the perfection selection but without any luck, until..
discovering Ark Clothing. They have the perfect selection of kimonos in all the different lenghts, shapes, fabrics and prints you could ever want and imagine. I’m not sure if it’s the festival season that just started here or my slight love for 90’s looking outfits lately that have me obsessed, but my god, I want all of them.
What I love most about kimonos is their way of being really versatile. They can add that perfect touch of grungy-ness to your outfit or be super girly worn with creams, pastels and flowers in your hair. What I especially love is that they allow you to wear very minimal clothes during those really hot summer days – heeey Roskilde Festival, I’ll see you in six days – but without feeling too exposed. They act as a sort of comfortable cover-up and at the same time make your outfit look cool. Bonus.
I’ve picked out my favorites for you guys and now I just need to decide which one I should get and bring with me to Roskilde. All the kimonos range from £15 to £45 so there is definitely something for everyone – you can go check out the entire selection over at Ark Clothing. Which one is your favorite? ♥

Oh my, it’s been so long since I did a look of the day. The shame. Anywaysies, today I went to an amazing job interview and it went so well. Do you know that feeling of being so happy and excited that you just wanna squeal even though you’re surrounded by people in the middle of public? That’s how I felt when I left. If I actually squealed or not will remain unknown, but I have such a great feeling about this. Next friday at 10 I will have to go to a makeup test with a model of my own choice, so cross your fingers for me guys, and hope it will be fabulous! This job is so perfect for me, so hopefully I will have good news shortly. Eeeep, the excitement.
Yesterday I went to Distortion with my friends and spent all day and night listening to music, partying and enjoying that it’s finally summer. I was gonna go again today, but a case of the hangovers have hit me hard, so today is being spent in bed with netflix and junkfood – crossing my fingers I’ll be there again tomorrow instead.
Rebecca is very excited about her beerz and shotz.
And shots we had. So so many of them. I think we were just getting started here.
There were so many people all over the place. We waited in line for the toilets forever.
Then these two little lovebirds got engaged and Troels gave Rebecca the prettiest, pink rose we had ever seen. Good thing the leopard shirt she borrowed from he had a little pocket to keep it save.
We went to visit some of Rebecca’s friends whose apartment was on one of the party streets. As you can see there a literally thousands and thousands of people partying, it was kind of crazy. I also giggled when I saw these pictures this morning, cause it’s so obvious that I’m gradually getting more and more drunk, haha.
We then went to sit in Folkets Park and get more beer. At this time my memory is kind of blurry, I’m not exactly sure what we did after this, haha.
Hello, my name is Drunk.
So that guy in the background who my friend is kissing, right? I kissed him too. How very skanky of us. Also, I have no idea why Sofie is trying to eat me. Anyway, this is where the night ended, before we went home to listen to Beyoncé and drink beer.. I totally fell asleep though. Will be back with a Part ll when I get home tomorrow night. If any of you guys see me there, feel free to come say hi ♥

All week I have been wanting to wear this dress with some sort of messy/fabulous hairdo, but I kept thinking friday would be the perfect day to do so even though I won’t be going out. Mie Maja told me it’s the same model as this dress that I’m sure you guys have seen me in a million times – there’s just something about the shape and lines of it that I’m really diggin’. This might also be the last outfit post of this week since Mie Maja is returning tomorrow, but we’ll see if I have time to do another look. Which of the looks from this week has been your favorite, guys?
I’m gonna call it a day, jump to bed with Sex & The City (I’m obsessed, again) and cuddle with the kitty. Sure will be missing this when I leave! Have a fun friday everyone! ♥
