500.000 blog views, 500 readers and red lips for christmas

December 18, 2014
I was just catching up on some blogs and checking back on my own when I saw that the view counter had hit 500.000 and that 500 readers had subscribed, which honestly, is kind of a milestone for me. This blog started out as a fun experiment to express myself back in the winter of 2010 and is to this day still a place where I post personal inspirations – sometimes more than others – and will always be a place I’ll return when I feel the need. It’s lovely to know that you guys like to take part in this little online diary of mine.

Things have been dull for me online, but my non-virtual life certainly hasn’t. I’m hoping to find a good balance between these two parts of me in 2015 and bring it all together for bigger, better things. There are big projects that I have been planning for so long and I think the time might be right soon. I miss interacting with you all both here and on youtube.

But for now, thank you to each and every one of you for watching, commenting, supporting and sharing your opinions with me these past 4 years. I truly appreciate it ♥
Lips are Makeup Forever Aqua Lip liner in 8C, 11C, 12C, Rimmel Temptation lipstick with a dap of Urban Decay F-bomb lipstick and a Makeup Forever clear Aqua Rouge gloss on top.

2014 was amazing and it’s not even over

November 24, 2014

Snapshots from the past few weeks

I feel like it’s time to get personal with another little life update to follow up on the one I did back in early july. So the past six months have been amazing. And crazy. And just so unbelievable. I feel like I’ve accomplished so much, both on a personal, but also a professional level. As you guys know, I was very happy working with Makeup Forever, but in september I was headhunted by Urban Decay who offered me an even better job as a makeup artist on the first ever Urban Decay team in Scandinavia. It’s been a huge honor to help bring this amazing brand to Denmark, and as you can see from some of the pictures above, I’m so happy with my new team, boss and colleagues in general. This new position has and will make it easier for me to establish myself and do the things I really want to do.

As I mentioned in the earlier life update, getting a new apartment was a huge turning point in my life as well, but now five months later, this small apartment in a dorm is beginning so seem slightly cramped – not to mention the fact that it takes me roughly an hour to get to work. But I’m moving on saturday. An amazing lifesaver with a great big heart offered me a big, two bedroom apartment with a cute little balcony and a spacious kitchen where I can paint my walls lovely pastel colors and actually exist. It’s also gonna be so much faster for me to get to work, and I’m lucky enough to have such great friends in my life who offered to help move my stuff, without me even asking.

When I go to bed at night and realize all the good that’s happening in my life, I can do nothing but fall asleep with a smile on my face. I guess making an actual effort to work hard on accomplishing the things you want really does work! Meeep, next up – home decor inspiration post! My fingers are tingling to get started! ♥

Coma Club 2014

November 5, 2014

A bunch of photos from this years Coma Club, or rather, our little getting ready/pre party at Rebecca’s place. As you guys can tell we all kinda got obsessed with glitter this year, and my fabulous american friend Jayce who’s studying in Copenhagen this semester came by Makeup Forever where we did his makeup before going to Rebecca’s place to all dress up and have fun. From what I remember, most of of the night was amazing 😛

I’m hosting a party at Wonk in Malmö on saturday with the fabulous guys from Duo RAW and Kyle Farmery, so if you don’t know what to do this weekend and you’re in Denmark or Sweden come say hi to Rebecca and I at the party! The official event is right here.

Pink October

Vintage hat – eBay faux fur coat – eBay shirt – Motel shorts – NLY boots – eBay sequin clutch

Went out shopping with Rebecca this monday in search for things we can use for two big upcoming parties, one of them being Coma Club. Fall has really hit now, so that calls for warmer clothes which means my collection of faux fur coats comes in great handy. These Motel shorts has become part of my work uniform, but even on days off I still seem to wear them all the time. So comfy.

Mama said there’ll be days like this

September 29, 2014
H&M hat – Nelly faux fur vest – Vintage jumpsuit – thrifted belt – thrifted bag – Nelly heels – Holy Malice sunnies
Hey guys, hope everyone is doing well! Earlier in September while visiting my grandmother in southern Jutland where I’m from we went to this unexpectedly amazing secondhand shop were I found so many treasures. Amongst these treasures were this jumpsuit that I assume is handmade and that is also one of my favorite secondhand finds of all time. The feel of it, from the clashing fabrics to the flowy legs, is perfect for fall. Paired with a big floppy hat, a belt and some kind of faux fur – it really is a perfect fall outfit for me. I’m going back to visit her again next week, so another trip to the secondhand shop has already been planned. The month of October is gonna be crazy busy for me, but hopefully I should be back with another outfit soon.
